ChMeetings alternative for South African churches

ChMeetings is a popular, low-cost church management system with a page aimed at South African churches. GraceHub is made in South Africa. Here is how they compare, using what each publishes about itself, and how to move your ChMeetings data across.

Why churches choose GraceHub

What ChMeetings offers

ChMeetings is made by Jios Apps Inc, a US company, and launched in 2018. It says it serves more than 8,000 churches, ministries and dioceses, and it has a South Africa page that names Paystack giving and shows approximate Rand prices.

Its website lists people, families and groups, a member portal, forms, follow-ups and automations, giving with pledges and statements, an accounting module, events with paid registration, child check-in with name tags and kiosks, volunteer scheduling and worship planning, and messaging by email, SMS and push. An iOS and Android app is included in every plan.

ChMeetings prices in US dollars by the number of active people: free for up to 50, then from $12 a month for 100 people to $60 a month for unlimited people. The Rand amounts on its South Africa page are approximate conversions.
